Ademola Lookman has talked up Atalanta’s 2-1 victory over AC Milan, reports Completesports.com.
La Deal made it nine Serie A wins on the trot at the Gewiss Stadium on Friday night.
Gian Piero Gasperini’s side went in front early on with Charles De Ketelaere out-jumping Theo Hernandez at the back post to nod in Marten de Roon’s free kick.
The equaliser came 10 minutes later, as Rafael Leao sprung the offside trap on Hernandez’s through ball to sprint down the left and flash a ball across the face of goal for Alvaro Morata to tap-in.
Lookman then scored the winning goal from a header three minutes from time.
“It’s a very important game against a very strong team that is doing well in the League. We performed well tonight, three big points and we continue like this,” Lookman told Sky Sport Italia.
“I think we just continue to play the way we play, match by match. We believe in ourselves as a team, so we continue like this and stay together.”
The 27-year-old has so far registered 10 goals and five assists in 17 appearances across all competitions for La Dea this season.
