‘Victor Osimhen Annoys Napoli By Turning Down Manchester United’

Napoli are currently navigating a challenging situation regarding Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, who has opted to decline a transfer to Manchester United.

As reported by La Repubblica, Victor Osimhen has chosen to remain with Galatasaray for the entirety of the season, despite interest from United.

Osimhen joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli last September, and Napoli had anticipated generating €81 million from his potential sale this month, owing to a break-up clause in his contract.

However, the 26-year-old has communicated to Napoli’s director, Giovanni Manna, his desire to continue his journey with Galatasaray until the season ends.

This decision has understandably frustrated Napoli’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, who perceives it as yet another hurdle in managing Osimhen’s situation.

In a different turn of events, Chelsea have officially announced the permanent transfer of academy goalkeeper Kai Crampton to Bournemouth. This news was shared through a statement on Chelsea’s website.

Crampton, who joined Chelsea at the Under-8 level, has made considerable progress through the club’s development system and played a key role in the Under-18 team that won the Premier League South title during the 2023/24 season.

This season, he made four appearances in league and cup competitions and had a brief matchday loan with National League South side Hampton & Richmond.
