Kevin Akpoguma was in action for Hoffenheim in their 3-2 defeat at home to Tottenham Hotspur on matchday 7 of the Europa League on Thursday.
Akpoguma played for 90 minutes while his Nigerian teammate and new signing Gift Orban was not in Hoffenheim squad for the game.
