TikTok star, Peller loses big after criticising #30-dayrantchallenge

TikToker Habeeb Adelaja, popularly known as Peller, has lost over five hundred thousand followers on social media after condemning the trending 30-day rant challenge.

TheNewsGuru reports that thousands of Nigerian youths have taken to social media, particularly TikTok, to express their frustration over the difficult living conditions under President Bola Tinubu’s government.

The #30DaysRantChallenge, was first initiated by Youth Corper Rita “Raye” Ushie Uguamaye who openly criticized President Tinubu, calling his administration, “terrible.”

Participants, particularly young people in the challenge have been voicing their complaints about the economic hardships they are facing.

In reaction, Peller, as he’s fondly called, in an emotional outburst during a recent session, cautioned Tiktoksters to stop the rants.

He further urged anyone who’s not satified with the Tinubu’s administration to go to the market to voice their frustration rather than do it on TikTok.

“If you want to really rant, go to Instagram; go to the market; don’t rant here on TikTok. If they ban TikTok, that’s where we will have issues,” he said.

Incited by the TikTok star’ statement, many of his fans began to unfollow him on both on Instagram and TikTok page.

Quick checks shows that Peller had lost a significant number of followers, with nearly 500,000 unfollowing him on TikTok and another 400,000 on Instagram.
