Arise TV journalist, Rufai Oseni on Friday clashed with a studio guest, Lere Olayinka, the Spokesperson to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on air over demolition notice on a property said to be owned by a former Military officer, late Col. Paul Ogbebor.
TheNewsGuru.com(TNG) reports that Oseni and Olayinka had engaged in a heated argument on national TV, and were at each other’s throats during the morning show on the broadcast station.
This comes after Lere was invited to Arise TV to clarify the demolition notice on a property said to be owned by a former Military general,
According to Oseni, the family had accused Wike of forcefully attempting to grab the land, which was said to be worth N3.5 billion, and reallocating it to one of his associates.
During the interview, Rufai referred to Wike and FCT authorities, as ‘you guys’ which provoked the minister’s spokesman.
In response, Lere said it was insulting to refer to Wike and the FCT Authorities as ‘you guys’, which led to an exchange between them.
