Super Falcons Midfielder Moves To Dallas Trinity FC On Loan

Super Falcons midfielder Deborah Abiodun has joined USL Super League club Dallas Trinity FC on loan for the 2025 season.

Abiodun switched from Washington Spirit for an undisclosed fee.

Dallas Trinity FC is a professional women’s soccer team located in Dallas-Fort Worth.

The USL Super League is the top tier of women’s soccer in the United States, operating alongside the National Women’s Soccer League, and is organized by the United Soccer League.

“Deborah and Tamara’s loans are part of our development plans for them as they begin their U.S. pro careers,” said President of Soccer Operations/General Manager Mark Krikorian.

“They both will gain valuable experience playing in Dallas this year and we look forward to welcoming them back to the Spirit in the future.”

The 21-year-old joined Washington Spirit in January after leaving University of Pittsburgh.

She signed a three-year contract with the option of another year.
