Nigeria’s Super Falcons maintained top position in the latest women’s world ranking, reports Completesports.com.
FIFA released the latest women’s ranking on its official website on Thursday.
The West Africans retained their position despite recording two wins in the period under review.
The nine-time African champions defeated the Green Ladies of Algeria 2-0 and 4-1 respectively in a two-legged friendly.
They however lost 2-1 to Les Bleues of France in another friendly.

Justine Madugu’s side also maintained top position in Africa.
African champions Banyana Banyana of South are second with Morocco, Zambia and Ghana completing the top five on the continent.
The United States of America retained top spot in the world, while world champions Spain moved to second position.
Germany moved to third position, while England dropped to fourth.
The next FIFA Women’s ranking will be released on March 15, 2024.
