Moses Simon has reacted to his stunning strike in Nantes’ 1-0 home win against Stade Rennes on Sunday.
The Nigeria international’s decisive goal came one minutes from time.
Simon received the ball on the left wing, dribbled past two markers inside the box, cut to his right and unleashed a superb curler into the far top corner.
The 28-year-old stated that he has scored similar goal in the past.

“I can’t say it was magical because I already did it against Lens (2022-2023 season). So, I think it was the perfect moment, especially in the derby” he told DAZN.
” We needed the points, that’s the most important thing for us. We got them, and we are very happy.”
The talented winger has now netted four goals in 13 league appearances for the Canaries this season.
Nantes are now 13th on the standings with 14 points from 14 matches.
