Savinho Is In Better Shape Than Jack Grealish

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has provided insight into his decision to select the promising young talent Savinho over the experienced Jack Grealish for the team’s recent fixtures.

Savinho has started in the last two matches, showcasing his skills and importance to the squad by contributing significantly to the club’s recent 4-1 victory against West Ham in the Premier League. During this match, the Brazilian winger was instrumental, providing three assists that highlighted his offensive capabilities and playmaking skills.

In the aftermath of this impressive performance, Guardiola addressed the media, explaining his rationale for favouring Savinho in the lineup. He stated that the Brazilian player is currently in “better shape and everything” compared to Grealish.

Guardiola further implied that Grealish, despite his talents and experience, may not be performing at his absolute best at the moment.

“Does anyone think Savinho doesn’t deserve to play? No. He deserves it. That’s why I play him because he produces on the pitch,” Guardiola asserted.

The Spanish coach also added that Grealish needs to recognize the fierce competition within the squad and push himself to return to peak form.

“Savinho is in better shape and everything than Jack, and that’s why I opted to play Savinho,” Guardiola added.
