Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United lost their second consecutive Premier League defeat, falling to Nottingham Forest.
The Red Devils defeated 3-2 at Old Trafford, allowing some laughable goals.

Man United vs Nottingham Forest highlights
Forest took the lead after just two minutes when Nikola Milenkovic headed in a corner, but Rasmus Hojlund levelled in the 18th minute.
The hosts had a good first half, although Forest threatened on counterattacks.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s team regained the lead early in the second half after two blunders by Bruno Fernandes and Andre Onana.
Andre Onana angers Man United fans after he wastes time in loss to Forest
Fernandes dropped a pass in a crucial situation, allowing the visitors to break through on goal. Morgan Gibbs-White gave Forest the lead with his swerving shot that got past Onana with ease, per Sky Sports.
Chris Wood scored Forest’s third goal with a header that Lisandro Martinez should have cleared. Fernandes scored for Manchester United, but they were unable to equalise.
Manchester United remains 13th in the Premier League with 19 points.
Amorim reacts to Onana’s error
After the game, Amorim refused to blame Onana. He mentioned that the goalkeeper had saved the the team in the past several games.
“Onana already saved us a lot of times. We have to find a way when this happens to Onana, to turn around + score two goals, the same way he saved us in Ipswich. We have to improve in all aspects of the game,” he said via The Athletic journalist Laurie Whitwell.

Gibbs-White was surprised his shot went past Onana.
“I didn’t [think it was going in] at all, to be fair,” he said via Manchester Evening News. “I don’t want to discredit Onana, he’s an incredible goalkeeper, but when I had the shot, I thought he was going to pick it up.”
Amorim’s side face Viktoria Plzen and Manchester City in their next two games.
Sports analyst Dan Ogetga told Henzodaily.ng Amorim can lead the Red Devils to fifth this season.
“He’s a good appointment for the club in the context of the club’s restructuring since he’s young and ambitious. I hope he’ll be given enough time to build a good squad that will compete in the future. Finishing in the top five is a realistic target for his debut season.”
