Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo is optimistic Ola Aina will soon sign a new contract at the club.
Aina arrived the City Ground as a free agent in the summer of 2023.
The tricky trees triggered the one-year option in his contract last summer.

The 27-year-old has six months remaining on his current deal and is yet to put pen to paper on a new one.
Santo is upbeat the full-back and Chris Wood will extend their stay at the club.
“I think so. I think things are going well and the players are working very good,” the gaffer told a press conference on Friday.
The 27-year-old has scored twice in 19 league appearances for the Tricky Trees this season.
