Santo stated that talks are progressing well with the Nigeria international.
“I think there will be good news. Things are going well. I am positive and confident everything is going to be solved,” Santo told a press conference on Thursday.
The 28-year-old joined the Reds on a one-year contract in 2023.
Forest activated the one-year contract extension in the full-back’s contract last summer.
