Nigerian woman supplying weapons to notorious bandits, arrested


A Nigerian woman, identified as Shamsiyya Ahadu, has been arrested by the operatives of the Nigerian Army  for supplying criminals, including the camp of notorious bandits kingpin Bello Turji with ammunition.

Reports obtained by TheNewsGuru.com(TNG) on Sunday revealed that  forces from Sector 2 Joint Task Force North West nabbed  Ahadu after engaging in Operation Fansan Yamma.

According to reports, Ahadu alongside with her accomplice, a motorcyclist, identified as Ahmed Husaini was taken into custody on December 28, in the Badarawa region of Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

During the operation, she was found in possession of 764 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition and six magazines intended for delivery to the hideout of the notorious terrorist leader, Bello Turji.

“Her arrest followed an intelligence report regarding the movement of the terrorists’ logistics along the road from Kware to Badarawa communities in the Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara state.

“In response to the development, troops of Operation Fansan Yamma promptly established a roadblock leading to the apprehension of the suspects.

“Both suspects are currently undergoing investigation by appropriate authorities,” a statement from the Nigerian Army reads.
