Wilfred Ndidi will miss Leicester City’s trip to Newcastle United on Saturday due to a hamstring injury.
The Foxes manager, Ruud van Nistelrooy confirmed on Thursday the midfielder will be sidelined for a couple of weeks due to the injury.
Ndidi sustained the injury during Leicester City’s thrilling 2-2 home draw against Brighton & Hove Albion last week Saturday.

The 27-year-old was substituted early in the second half.
“He (Ndidi) has a hamstring injury, so he’s not available for [Saturday’s] game,” Van Nistelrooy told the club’s official website.
“We’re looking at his progress and how he will react to the injury, but it looks like it’s at least a couple of weeks.”
The Nigeria international has made 15 league appearances for the former Premier League champions this season.
