Nantes Boss Thumbs Up Simon After Draw Against Saint-Etienne

Nantes manager Antoine Kamboure has showered encomium on Moses Simon following his side’s 1-1 draw against Saint-Etienne.

Simon gave the Canaries the lead in the 14th minute of the keenly contested encounter.

Ghana forward Augustine Boakye equalised for Saint-Etienne four minutes from time.

Kamboure also praised the Nigeria international for his versatility.

“On the left, there’s Simon. He played the game we expected of him. He’s capable of playing anywhere,” Kamboure was quoted by the club’s official website.

The 29-year-old has scored five goals and registered five assists in 16 league appearances for Nantes this season.

Nantes currently occupy 15th position on the Ligue 1 table with 17 points.

They will host Olympic Lyon in their next league game this weekend.
