A video of Caucasian couple getting married in a Nigerian-themed wedding has stirred mixed reactions on social media.
In the video that has gone viral, the yet-to be identified couple opted to make their wedding clothes with materials used by Nigerians to make traditional attires.
Their guests, in the viral clips also donned Nigerian traditional outfits and they had friends dressed in asọ-ebi.
The music played at the ceremony was also Nigerian -themed, with entertainment from different Nigerian cultural dance troupes.
The ceremony also held a reception, featuring several games typical with Nigerian weddings.
While some people may call it cultural appropriation, others have pointed out that Nigerians have white weddings, which is the White man’s traditional wedding.
