Man United Reach Verbal Agreement To Sign 17-Yr-old Paraguayan Defender

Manchester United have reached verbal agreement to sign 17-year-old Paraguayan left-back Diego León from Cerro Porteno.

This was dislcosed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on Friday.

“Manchester United reach verbal agreement to sign 17 year old Paraguayan left back Diego León from Cerro Porteno, here we go! Romano said.

“Initial fee will be $4m plus $1m easy add-ons and over $3.5m based on player’s/team future performances.

“Diego León will arrive in July 2025.”

León, who started his senior career with Cerro Porteno, has been described as one of the great promises of Paraguayan football.

He received interest from clubs in the English Premier League.

On 2 August 2024, León debuted for the Cerro Porteno during a 1–0 win over Sportivo Ameliano.

Then, on 2 August 2024, he scored his first goal for them during a 1–0 win over Sportivo Ameliano.
