Man City Agree Deal With AC Milan For Walker

Manchester City have reportedly accepted a formal bid from AC Milan for Kyle Walker.

The agreement is a loan with a summer acquisition option for the England international.

According to Sky Sports, the option is worth about £4.2 million.

Walker is scheduled to arrive in Milan today (Thursday)at midday, check into a hotel, and then have a medical examination in the afternoon.

He will sign the contract at Casa Milan, the headquarters of AC Milan.

Since moving to City in 2017 for £50 million from Tottenham Hotspur, Walker has helped the team win 17 trophies, including six Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League.

After City won the treble in 2023, he was on the verge of joining Bayern Munich. However, he signed a contract extension that would keep him with the side until 2026.

On the success City have had with Walker, Guardiola said: “We cannot understand the success we’ve had these years without Kyle. It’s impossible.

“He arrived eight years ago with us and we start to win, win, win, win and he has been important for the national team and of course with our team.”

Walker made 319 appearances scoring six goals and providing 23 assists throughout his eight-year stay at City as they dominated English football within that time.
