Leicester City Won’t Sell ‘Key Player’ Ndidi – Van Nistelrooy

Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy has declared that the Foxes won’t sanction Wilfred Ndidi’s sale this month, reports Completesports.com.

Ndidi, 28, has been linked with a move to Monaco and Atletico Madrid.

The two clubs are interested in signing the defensive midfielder on loan with option to buy.

Speaking to BBC, Van Nistelrooy insisted Ndidi
remains a crucial player for the club.

“No, of course not,” Van Nistelrooy replied when asked if Ndidi could leave.

“Wilfred is a key player and person in the squad and in the club and I’m glad he is nearly there to help the team again.

“We know how much we’ve missed him and we know we need him. Wilf is key in the coming months, a key part of this team that can get us out of this situation.”

The Nigeria international has been at Leicester City since January 2017

The former Genk player has registered three assists in 15 league appearances for the former Premier League champions this season.
