Jerome Akor Adams made his debut as Sevilla held their hosts Getafe to a 0-0 draw at the Estadio Coliseum on Saturday afternoon.
Adams, who joined the Rojiblancos from Ligue 1 club, Montpellier this week started the game among the substitutes.
The 24-year-old took the place of Suso nine minutes from time.
Sevilla also paraded another Nigerian Chidera Ejuke in the keenly contested encounter.

Ejuke replaced Ruben Vargas in the 71st minute.
The 27-year-old has scored once in 11 league appearances for Garcia Pimienta’s side this season.
His compatriot Kelechi Iheanacho was an unused substitute in the game.
The forward has featured in nine league games for the former UEFA Europa League champions.
Sevilla are now undefeated in their last four league games, , their last longer unbeaten streak was from 30th March 2024 to 5th May 2024, a run of five games.
