The Kebbi State government has concluded plans to construct a befitting new Government Reservation Area(GRA) outside the state capital, Birnin Kebbi.
According to the plans, the new GRA will be constructed in Kawara village, a superb of the south eastern part of the state capital, Birnin Kebbi.
Already, Governor Nasir Idris, accompanied by the top government officials from the Ministry of Lands and Housing, led by the secretary to the state government, has visited the proposed site, where construction will start after the government approves the award of the project.
The permanent secretary of the Ministry of Lands and Housing, TPL Abubakar Ahmed, presented the details of the layout map of the proposed GRA, which he noted will not only extend the state capital but also increase the state’s housing and revenue.
Governor Nasir Idris commended the officials of the Ministry of Lands and Housing for their foresight in proposing such an important project that will benefit future generations.
