Jose Mourinho Identifies Coaches Who Can Replace Ancelotti At Real Madrid

Fenerbahce’s manager, Jose Mourinho, has shared insights regarding potential candidates that could take the helm at Real Madrid if they decide to part ways with current head coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Ancelotti’s position has come under scrutiny in light of the team’s inconsistent performances in both La Liga and the Champions League in recent weeks. With mounting pressure from fans and the media, discussions about a possible managerial change have intensified.

Jose Mourinho, who had a noteworthy tenure as Real Madrid’s coach from 2010 to 2013, expressed his unwavering admiration for the club and left the door slightly ajar for a potential return to the Santiago Bernabeu.

“I’ll always be a big fan of Real Madrid,” he stated. “They have the best coach in the world, my friend Carlo [Ancelotti]. He’s doing very well in tough circumstances.”

Delving into the future direction of the club, Mourinho emphasized that the decision ultimately resides with the club’s president, Florentino Perez.

He highlighted various pathways that could shape Real Madrid’s coaching future: “The future depends on what the president wants. If he wants to embrace a new direction with a young coach who has significant potential, Xabi [Alonso] could be a fantastic choice.

“On the other hand, if he prefers to maintain continuity and leverage experience, sticking with someone like Carlo is a viable option. Additionally, looking toward the youth ranks is also an interesting route; talented figures such as Raul, who manages the reserves, or Álvaro Arbeloa, who oversees the youth team, could be considered.”
