Gabriel Jesus netted a brace as Arsenal defeated Crystal Palace 5-1 in Saturday’s Premier League game.
The Brazilian international had netted a hat-trick against same team to help the Gunners to advance to the Carabao Cup semi-finals on Wednesday.
The Gunners got off to a quick start, as Jesus continued his fine form from Wednesday to give Arsenal the lead in the sixth minute with a powerful strike.

Ismaila Sarr had the Eagles on level terms in the 11th minute, though, after beating David Raya with a perfectly placed effort from range.
Jesus regained the Gunners’ lead in the 25th minute, with another powerful strike after a corner eventually fell for the Brazilian inside the box before Kai Havertz added a third for Arsenal.
The Gunners took the game beyond Palce’s reach as Gabriel Martinelli added a fourth after a flurry of Arsenal chances in the 60th minute, after poking in Declan Rice’s initial effort.
Rice would get a goal of his own, however, with a beautiful curling effort in the 84th minute.
