Tella came off the bench to score the winning goal as Bayer Leverkusen knocked out Bayern Munich from the German Cup on Tuesday night.
The Nigeria international took the place of Patrick Schick one minute after the hour mark.

The winger then nodded home the winning goal eight minutes later following a superb cross from Alex Grimaldo.
It was his first goal of the season for Die Werkself.
“I’ll be honest, it’s been a really frustrating start to the season…but I can’t argue with the coach [Xabi Alonso],” Tella said after the game.
” He knows what’s best for the team.”
