Ajax striker Chuba Akpom has disclosed that he’s always willing to give his very best to the club each time he has the chance to play.
Akpom has been playing third fiddle behind the duo of Brian Brobbey and Weghorst in the Ajax striker role.

However, in a chat with Ajaxshowtime, the former Middlesbrough star stated that he has a bigger plan for himself and not interested in displacing former Manchester United striker Wout Weghorst as the first-choice striker at Ajax.
“I’m not going to say anything about that. That’s not up to me. I just give as much as I can. Maybe I think differently about it, but in this situation you can’t be selfish,” Akpom said, per Ajaxshowtime.
“There is a bigger plan and everyone has to be on the same page. The most important thing is that I give everything when I’m on the pitch.”
