The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor E.A Adeboye, has disclosed how he almost faced challenges with certain powerful individuals after he made some comments about Nigeria.
The clergyman stated during the ongoing annual Holy Ghost Congress at the Redemption City, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
He said: “I said something during the Abuja Holy Ghost Service which I am not going to repeat because I nearly got into trouble because of telling the truth.
“Certain things happened, at least in my nation Nigeria, that force you to wonder: Are we under a curse? There are nations that didn’t have all the resources we have, and yet, they seem to be doing better than we are doing. Hmmmm, let me leave that out.”
Adeboye further called on Nigerians to pray for divine intervention against efforts by powerful cabals who are allegedly working to block the success of private refineries in Nigeria.
He expressed frustration over the billions of naira spent on repairing the nation’s four government-owned refineries, which still fail to function optimally.
