President Bola Tinubu has described the late Secretary to Ondo State Government, Temitayo Oluwatuyi, as a diligent man.
President Tinubu said Temitayo Oluwatuyi served the people of Ondo with unwavering dedication, providing the necessary backbone for policy coordination and implementation.
In a statement by his Special Adviser of Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu recalled the Oluwatuyi’s public service career from local government chairman to being appointed SSG by late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu commiserates with the Government and people of Ondo State over the death of Temitayo Oluwatuyi, the Secretary to the State Government.
“The President condoles with the political stalwart’s family, friends, and political associates. Governor Rotimi Akeredolu first appointed him as the SSG in 2020
“Oluwatuyi served with distinction and many recognitions before his reappointment by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
“President Tinubu acknowledges the diligence of the former Chairman of Akure South Local Government and Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in strengthening democracy in the state,” it read partly.
President Tinubu further prayed to God to grant his soul eternal rest.
“The President believes Oluwatuyi served the people of Ondo State with unwavering dedication, providing the necessary backbone for policy coordination and implementation and significantly contributing to the state’s progress
“The President prays that the Almighty God will receive the departed’s soul and bring comfort and solace to his grieving family,” it added.
