Jose Peseiro has said he is delighted to take up the role of new Zamalek head coach, reports Completesports.com
The Egyptian Premier League club confirmed Peseiro’s appointment on Friday.
Peseiro put pen to paper on a one-and-a-half-year contract with the 14-time Egyptian champions.
The Portuguese briefly managed Zamalek local rivals Al Ahly in the 2015-16 season.

“Happy, honoured to represent Zamalek! And with a lot of ambition,” he wrote on X
“The work has already begun and this is where all our focus and dedication lies.
“Making the fans proud is what we want!
#zamalek.”
The 64-year-old’s first task as Zamalek’s head coach will be Sunday’s Egyptian Premier League clash against Petrojet.
