Despite falling to a 2-0 defeat against Juventus in Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League, Pep Guardiola has hailed the performance of his Manchester City players.
Second half goals from Dusan Vlahovic and Weston Mckennie sealed the win for the Bianconeri.
It is now one win in 10 games for the reigning Premier League champions.
But Guardiola saw the positives from his side, highlighting the good things they did against Juventus.
“We played good. Really, really good. The performance is there,” Guardiola said after the match.
“We have done really, really well tonight. We didn’t lose many balls that had happened in the past and we tried, we arrived in the positions.”
After six games, City are in 27th place on eight points with two games left to play in the Champions League.
Up next for Guardiola and his men is the Manchester derby this weekend.
The Cityzens would hope to return to winning ways against the Red Devils after playing 2-2 at Crystal Palace.
