Plateau Regeneration Group has lauded Plateau State governor Barr Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang’s appointment of Hon Joyce Ramnap as commissioner of information and communication.
It also expressed confidence that Hon Joyce Ramnap would excel in the task before her.
The group’s spokesman, Comrade Pam Datiri, stated this in an interview with LEADERSHIP in Jos.
According to him, they have declared their support as a group for the state governor, Barr Caleb Mutfwang, who appointed Hon Joyce Ramnap as a commissioner.
He described the appointment as “well-deserved ” and expressed confidence that she would excel in the task before her.
“Her appointment was not unexpected, given her impressive track record as a former member of the Plateau State House of Assembly, who rose to become the deputy speaker, earning her widespread admiration among her people.
“Hon. Joyce Ramnap is very eloquent and intelligent and possesses the requisite expertise and experience to take the information ministry to higher heights,” he said.
The group further emphasised that while in the House of Assembly, she positively impacted lives and delivered the benefits of democracy to the people of Langtang South.
He also highlighted that Hon Joyce Ramnap’s open-door policy would provide youths and women with greater access to the Governor Caleb Mutfwang-led administration.
The group firmly believes that Joyce Ramnap’s appointment as information commissioner would cultivate grassroots support for Governor Caleb Mutfwang.
Datiri also emphasised that knowing Hon Joyce Ramnap as a goal-getter, the Ministry of Information in Plateau State is in good hands while appealing to professional colleagues in the media industry to partner effectively with the new commissioner of Information to serve the good people of the state.
