Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk has highlighted the exceptional qualities that make Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen a standout player, noting his love for teamwork.
Since joining the team on loan from Serie A’s Napoli in January, Victor Osimhen has quickly become an integral part of the squad, contributing nine goals and five assists in just 12 appearances for the Turkish Super Lig champions.
Buruk commended Osimhen for his contributions to the team, stating, “Osimhen works hard, scores, and assists. He is in excellent form and is performing exceptionally well. His scoring contributions are vital, not just in Turkey but also in Europe.”
He emphasized that Osimhen’s primary strength lies in his commitment to the team’s success, stating, “His first characteristic is that he plays for the team, valuing teamwork over individual accolades.”
Meanwhile, Napoli’s Sporting Director Giovanni Manna has opened the door to the possibility of Victor Osimhen moving to Paris Saint-Germain during the January transfer window.
Manna indicated that while no formal discussions have taken place, the option is technically feasible, especially given that Osimhen joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan after negotiations for a transfer to PSG or Chelsea did not materialize last summer.
Osimhen has made a remarkable impact since his loan, scoring nine goals and providing five assists across all competitions.
In his interview with Mediaset via Tuttomercatoweb, Manna confirmed that although there is speculation regarding Osimhen’s potential move to PSG, the French giants have not yet made an official inquiry.
“It’s technically possible, but no one has reached out to us,” he noted, keeping the options open for the future.
