Nigerians have taken to social media to drag celebrity barman, Pascal Okechukwu aka Cubana Chief Priest after award-winning Afrobeats singer Damini ‘Burna Boy’ Ogulu, allegedly gifted a man who claims to be Chiefpriest’s brother $30, 000.
TheNewsGuru recalls that the duo on Friday night engaged in a heated social media exchange.
It started when Burna Boy referred to Cubana Chief Priest as the “Owerri Rick Ross,” a comment widely interpreted as a jab at the celebrity barman and close associate of singer Davido.
In retaliation, the celebrity bar man shared a video of Burna Boy requesting cake at the event before the singer’s rise to fame.
Burna Boy responded by posting a video of Bethel Okechukwu, a man who claimed to be Cubana Chief Priest’s brother and a phone repairer at the Alaba International market and vowed to give the man $30, 000.
On Saturday, Burna ‘fulfilled’ his promise as the said brother took to social media to share a video of him thanking the singer for changing his life with the money sent.
Nigerians have now taken to social media to taunt Chiefpriest who is well-known for showing off wealth on social media with the slogan “money na water.”
