Umar Sadiq made his debut for Valencia as they defeated lower division club Eldense 2-0 in the Copa del Rey round of 32 on Tuesday night.
Sadiq, who joined Valencia on loan from Real Sociedad, came on in the 58th minute.
First half goals from Sergi Canos and Diego Lopez secured Valencia’s progress into the next round.
Canos opened the scoring on nine minutes before Lopez made it 2-0 in the 39th minute.
Valencia ended a run of five consecutive defeats thanks to the win against Eldense.
Prior to joining Valencia, Sadiq failed to score a single goal in seven La Liga game for Sociedad.
