Chairman of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Board, Honourable Gbenga Elegbeleye, has commended Complete Sports for its exceptional dedication to showcasing the league, players, and fixtures in a positive light.
In a rare gesture, Elegbeleye addressed a formal letter of appreciation to the Executive Consultant of Complete Communications Limited, Dr Mumini Alao, acknowledging the organisation’s impactful coverage of the NPFL.

In the letter dated 5th December 2024, Elegbeleye noted that Complete Sports has consistently stood out in its independent reportage, promoting the league’s administration and players across match venues.
“I do not take this backing for granted, and it is the reason this unheard-of-before letter of appreciation is being personally signed by me, in acknowledgement of your un-induced positive reportage of activities of the NPFL Board, clubs, players and our
fixtures,” Elegbeleye stated.
The NPFL chairman emphasised the importance of constructive media support in building a vibrant domestic football league, expressing his enthusiasm for further collaboration.

“I look forward to other ways to cement the already good relationship existing between our two organisations,” he added, extending his best regards to the team at Complete Sports.
In response, Dr Mumini Alao conveyed his gratitude to Elegbeleye for recognising Complete Sports’ efforts.
“This is much appreciated, Mr Elegbeleye. Our belief at Complete Sports is that if our domestic league is a success, all of us stakeholders in sports will be the beneficiaries,” Alao remarked, while encouraging the NPFL Board to sustain its commendable initiatives.
