Samuel Chukwueze was benched as AC Milan defeated struggling Empoli 2-0 in the Serie A on Saturday.
Chukwueze has now been benched in back-to-back games for Sergio Conceição team
Both teams had a player sent off as Fikayo Tomori and Luca Marianuchi were given their matching orders.
After a goalless first half Milan were reduced to 10 men on 55 minutes following Tomori’s second booking in the game.
Ten minutes after Tomori was sent off Empoli’s Marianuchi was shown a straight red card.
Milan eventually took the lead in the 68th minute through Rafael Leao before Santiago Gimenez added the second goal on 76 minutes.
The win took Milan to seventh place on 38 points in the league table.
