Newly appointed Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle will manage the team at the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), Completesports.com reports.
Chelle was named Super Eagles head coach on Tuesday.
“We have come out with the policy that whoever we employ as the Super Eagles coach will also be the one to manage the affairs of the CHAN Eagles,” president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau said in an interview.

“We want players from the domestic league to be injected into the Super Eagles.”
The Home Eagles are making a return to the CHAN after a six-year absence.
They will discover their group stage opponents at the draw ceremony slated for the International Convention Centre, Nairobi Kenya on Wednesday, January 15.
The competition will start on Saturday 1 February 2025 and the final will take place on Friday 28 February 2025.
