Enyimba now face a difficult battle in their quest to secure a place in the quarter-final of the CAF Confederation Cup after they held Al Masry of Egypt to a 1-1 draw in Uyo on Sunday.
Al Masry took the lead through Mohamed Hashem after eight minutes.
The hosts fought back with Ifeanyi Ihemekwele equalising two minutes after the break.

Al Masry missed the chance to win the game after goalkeeper Ani Ozoemena saved Mahmoud Hamada’s spot kick in the 68th minute.
Enyimba moved to third position on the Group D table with five points following the stalemate.
Stanley Eguma’s side will be away to holders Zamalek in their last group game next week Sunday.
Zamalek are already through to the quarter-final.
