Enyimba head coach Stanley Eguma is optimistic his side will earn a berth in the quarter-final of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The People’s Elephant held Al Masry of Egypt to a 1-1 draw in their matchday five encounter at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Sunday.
The result put their chances of securing a place in the knockout round in jeopardy.
Eguma stated that the Aba giants will give their all to make it beyond the group stage.

“It’s not the end of the road. We still have the next game to play,” Eguma stated in a post-match interview.
“If Al Masry can come here and play the game of their lives, then we can go to Egypt, and who knows what the outcome of the other games will be. We are still optimistic, it is not over until it is over.”
Enyimba will be away to holders Zamalek in their last group game on Sunday.
The two-time African champions sit in third position in Group D with five points.
