Chiamaka Nnadozie can’t hide her excitement after she was crowned the best goalkeeper in the women’s category at the 2024 CAF Awards.
The Super Falcons goalkeeper beat Morocco’s Khadija Er-Rmichi and South Africa’s Andile Dlaminito to the individual award.
The 24-year-old was crowned the best keeper for her outstanding achievement at both club and national team level.
The shot stopper represented Nigeria at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

She thanked the CAF and Nigerian Football Federation Presidents for their contribution to growing the women’s game in Africa.
“Last year I was here, and I am here again today and grateful to God. I want to say big thank you to the CAF President and Nigerian Football President for the work done for women’s football,”the goal tender declared after winning the award.
“Also thank you to my club Paris who have invested a lot in me. Also, to my coaches and teammates who all made this happen. Of course, to my family and friends who have supported me from day one.”
It would be recalled that Nnadozie also won the award last year.
