The second edition of Business Expo organised by Rotary Club of Jabi Lakeside Abuja has come and gone, but not without massive success story. The event created for medium and small-scale businesses, which are craving opportunities to expand their customer base.
The expo took place at the ever-busy Kado-Life Camp Roundabout in the heart of Abuja city and it was a robust platform for brands to network, in line with global trends around business environment.
Declaring the business gathering open, the President of the Rotary Club of Jabi Lakeside, Rtn. Amaobi Tobechukwu Ogum, said it was carefully designed to provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs, small-scale businesses and established brands to showcase their products and services.
According to him, the cardinal objective of the expo was to create an umbrella for networking between potential customers and partners, generate leads, increase brand awareness, and explore new market opportunities within a focused industry, facilitate interactions and information exchange between exhibitors and attendees and to build partnership,
He expressed gratitude to organisations, individuals and other stakeholders who contributed in the overwhelming success of the trade expo.
“As you can see where we are is a virgin land, something like this has never happened here before, we are grateful to all the 75 vendors on display today. We believe we can add value to your business. I honestly pray you achieve your aspiration, we are also looking forward to seeing you in the next edition.
“We intend to create an enabling environment for businesses to network, and form partnerships for development and possible alliances,” he stated.
Participants from across the city of Abuja attended the business expo, with varieties of products and services on display.
They included fashion kits, household items, confectioneries of all shades and sizes, carbonated drinks, art exhibitions, medical equipment and more.
Also on display were real estate firms and car hire services and furniture companies.
With free access to the venue for every participant, about 75 exhibitors took part in the expo, which held under a secure environment.
