BREAKING: Tinubu makes fresh appointments

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed eight permanent secretaries in the federal civil service to fill existing and impending vacancies in some states and geopolitical zones.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports the newly appointed permanent secretaries are Onwusoro Maduka Ihemelandu for Abia State, Ndiomu Ebiogeh Philip for Bayelsa State and Anuma Ogbonnaya Nlia for Ebonyi State.

Others are Ogbodo Chinasa Nnam for Enugu State, Kalba Danjuma Usman for Gombe State, Usman Salihu Aminu for Kebbi State, Oyekunle Patience Nwakuso for Rivers State and Nadungu Gagare for Kaduna State.

This is contained in a statement released on Monday by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information & Strategy.

This will be the second set of eight permanent secretaries appointed by the president, following those appointed last June from Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Jigawa, Ondo, Zamfara,  South East and South-South.

“The Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation recommended that the new permanent secretaries be appointed after diligent selection,” Onanuga stated.

Meanwhile, President Tinubu has urged the new permanent secretaries to demonstrate greater commitment, diligence, and innovation in serving the nation.
