Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso has confirmed Victor Boniface is set to leave the Bundesliga champions for Saudi Arabia Professional League club Al Nassr.
Die Werkself and Al Nassr are already in talks for the striker, according to reports.
The Nigeria international is also said to be willing to join the Sun Club.
“There is this situation and I understand that. There are discussions with the club,” Alonso said ahead of Leverkusen’s UEFA Champions League clash with Sparta Prague on Wednesday.
“We have to wait. We’re preparing for the game without Boni of course”.
The 23-year-old recently extended his contract with Leverkusen to 2029.
Leverkusen are reportedly demanding €50m to sell the powerful forward.
