Super Eagles duo of Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi were in action as Nottingham Forest lost 3-0 to Manchester City in Wednesday’s Premier League game at the Etihad Stadium.
Aina, who played all 90 minutes, was making his 14th appearance and has netted one goal this ongoing season for Forest.
His Nigerian teammate, Awoniyi came on as a substitute in the 62nd minute for Chris Wood.

It was his 10th appearance for Nottingham Forest this season.
First-half goals from Bernardo Silva and captain KDB alongside a brilliant individual effort from Jeremy Doku after the break sent City fans home very happy.
City move back into the top four and within nine points of Liverpool after their 3-3 draw at Newcastle.
Defeat leaves Forest still in sixth but now four points off the top four.
