Breaking: Tinubu’s FG discloses actual month, year states will pay new minimum wage
According to a statement by the Governor’s Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, Mutfwang has “unequivocally dismissed” the rumours of his defection to the APC. The Governor has condemned the doctored content being circulated, which falsely depicts his image alongside APC governors. Mutfwang has reiterated his commitment to serving the people of Plateau State under the PDP, the platform through which he earned the people’s mandate.
Vanguard reported that Mutfwang has also reassured PDP members in Plateau State and the North Central Zone that consultations with critical stakeholders are ongoing to resolve lingering issues affecting the Party in the zone. He has further reaffirmed his commitment to collaborating with the Federal Government, led by President Bola Tinubu, in the collective interest of Plateau State’s development.
The Governor’s denial of the defection rumours is not surprising, given his previous statements on the matter. However, the persistence of the rumours suggests that there may be some underlying issues within the PDP or between Mutfwang and other politicians.
