Former Flying Eagles Winger Joins Mighty Jets

Nigeria National League (NNL) club, Mighty Jets have announced the signing of former Flying Eagles winger David Abwo.

Abwo last played for Cypriot club, Çetinkaya Türk Spor Kulübü.

He started his career with JC Raiders of Jos in 2004.

The player later moved to Enyimba before playing for several European clubs across Turkey, France, Poland and Cyprus.

He was part of Flying Eagles squad to the 2005 FIFA U-20 World Cup in the Netherlands.

Abwo is expected to make his debut for Mighty Jets against Wikki Tourists on Saturday, December 21.

Other new acquisitions include Ekechi Chiamankpa, Emmanuel Odafe, Suleiman Yusuf, James Katsina, Kamal Sikiru, Bright Silas, Caleb Rugasa, Amos Dadung Gyang, Safiyanu Abubakar, Joseph Joshua Oko, Tehember Akor, Chris Madaki, Andrew Omafu and former Enyimba and Kano Pillars Skipper Emmanuel Anyanwu.
