APC Govt Offering Billions To Kill Opposition Ahead Of 2027 Election

A chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Buba Galadima, has accused the All Progressive Congress (APC) led government of bribing opposition leaders ahead of 2027 election.

Buba Galadima slammed the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume, for his comment on 2027 election.

In an interview with Arise TV on Monday, Galadimma encouraged Nigerians to take up the challenge and effect government change in 2027.

He noted that whether the next president comes from the North or South should not be the major issue, but saving the situation of the country from the APC government.

“I wouldn’t want to discuss Nigerian issues on the basis of north and south. I’m a nationalist. What the people feel now in their body will determine the way they vote in 2027. There is a big vacancy; in fact, there is nobody occupying that seat in 2027, according to the Nigerian constitution, so Akume’s assertion is only laughable,” he said.

The NNPP chieftain emphasized that no amount of intimidation would stop the citizens from taking action in 2027. He alleged plans by APC government to bribe all leaders of opposition parties to work for President Bola Tinubu’s victory in 2027.

“There is no amount of intimidation by anybody, even amount of killing by anybody that will stop Nigerians from producing an alternative presidential candidate to run.

“We know as of today that this government in APC are sending emissaries to compromise leaders of political parties, offering tens of billions to leaders of the parties.

“They are promising all political parties to align with the agenda of the present government so that in 2027, there will be no candidate,” he stated.

Galadima stressed that all citizens must stand up together and ensure there is change of government in 2027.

“I’m extremely happy that, through the ballot box, Africans can change the government. In this country, all of us must stand up to ensure that happens in our country, and that is not for politicians alone,” he added.
