Davido calls out Osun police commissioner over LG crisis

Nigerian singer, Davido has taken to social media to call out the police commissioner in Osun state, Muhammed Umar Abba, accusing him of unprofessionalism and disrespecting the rule of law in the state.

Taking to his Instagram page on Monday, Davido hurled abusive words at Abba, vowing to post his photo “every day and everywhere” until he is removed from office if he fails to uphold the law.

Although Davido didn’t give reason for his outburst, he shared a video where he challenged the police chief, asking Umar to “prepare for him”.

“Mr. Commissioner, respect the rule of law!!! You are not madder or crazier than us!! Make we all kuru mad!! MEN MOUNT WALAI TO KRF!!! I will post you every day everywhere, Mr. man!!! Try me,” the singer wrote.

In another post, he intensified his criticism, stating, “MAN STEP ASIDE!!! Game on!!! Oya men mount!! WHY ARE YOU GOING AGAINST THE RULE OF LAW!! I will post you every day till they sack you!!! You think say na only you mad abi? I mad pass.”

He continued saying, “Mr Umar abba osun state commissioner u are a disgrace to ur children !! !!! Game on FUCKER!!!! All of us go mad together !! Werey!!!.”

Davido’s outburst comes barely a day after his uncle, the Osun Governor, Ademola Adeleke alleged that Adegboyega Oyetola, his predecessor, planned to cause mayhem in the state.

Adeleke asked President Bola Tinubu to caution Oyetola, whom he referred to as “Tinubu’s nephew”.
