Rivers head coach, Finidi George has blamed loss in concentration in his team’s defence for the defeat to Rangers.
The former Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions lost 1-0 to the Flying Antelopes at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu on Sunday.
Chinemerem Ugwueze scored the winning goal in the 15th minute of the encounter.

Rivers United dropped to second position following the defeat.
“I think it was not a bad game, few lapses defensively as I didn’t expect Rangers to score from a throw-in,”Finidi stated to the media after the game.
“Before the goal we had balls that was crossing the line which I expect our strikers to tap in that didn’t happen.”
Rivers United will entertain the Kwara United in their next league game.
