Super Eagles Have The Talents To Beat Rwanda,

Former FIFA and CAF technical director Chief Adeboye Onigbinde has disclosed that the Super Eagles have the natural talents to overcome Rwanda and Zimbabwe in the fast-approaching 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Nigeria will first battle the Amavubi, who are at the top of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying group that also has the Super Eagles in March.

Torsten Spittler’s side has seven points from four matches, three points ahead of the Super Eagles, who are second from bottom.

The Super Eagles will then host Zimbabwe at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, a few days after playing Rwanda.

Speaking with Completesports.com, Onigbinde stated that Nigeria has the material to conquer the world if the talents are well harnessed.

“It depends on how you look at it.If you are thinking of the quality possessed by Nigeria, what I can call natural talents, then there is no reason why Nigeria should not beat Rwanda.

“Not only Rwanda but other teams in our group. Nigeria has the materials to be one of the best in the world. But then, how do we manage some of these talents?

“I want the best for the Super Eagles at this point in time. Both the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and qualifying for the 2026 World Cup should be our priorities.”
