“It’s an important game against Enyimba, who are currently the best team in Nigeria,” Ilechukwu told 54footballx. “We’re prepared and understand that in football, outcomes can vary—win, lose, or draw. Regardless of what happens, we will focus on playing our own game.”

Ikorodu City Not Chasing NPFL Title

Ikorodu City head coach Nurudeen Aweroro has taken a pragmatic approach regarding his team’s ambitions for the season.

Following their impressive 4-1 victory over Akwa United, which moved them to third in the standings, Aweroro emphasized a focus on consistent performance rather than a title chase.

“I’m thrilled with the win, as it boosts our position on the log,” Aweroro said in a post-match interview. “Our goal is to continue winning games and secure our place in the league.”

Ikorodu City are gearing up to face Bayelsa United in their next league game.

Niger Tornadoes’ technical adviser, Majin Mohammed, has commended his players for their resilience in securing a 2-1 victory over Remo Stars.

“Remo Stars demonstrated their quality and organization; they were formidable,” Mohammed noted in a post-match interview. “After our recent defeat, we united as a team focused, and achieved our goal of securing the three points.”

With this win, Niger Tornadoes climbed to seventh position on the log.

Remo Stars Coach Reflects On Defeat

Remo Stars’ technical adviser, Daniel Ogunmodede has reflected on his team’s performance after their 2-1 loss to Niger Tornadoes, attributing the defeat to moments of lost concentration.

“We had opportunities to clinch the game, but we let two quick goals slip away,” Ogunmodede commented in a post-match interview. “Although it’s disappointing, we’ll focus on the positives and prepare for our next match.”

Remo Stars fell to second position in the NPFL standings after the loss.

Nasarawa United Coach Frustrated Over Defeat

Nasarawa United head coach, Kabiru Dogo, has expressed frustration over his team’s narrow 3-2 loss to Heartland, which was characterized by competitive play.

“We were very close to achieving our first away win of the season, and our recent matches have been of high quality,” Dogo remarked after the game. “Unfortunately, luck has not been on our side this season. We’ve played well, but we need that luck to turn in our favour moving forward.”
